This dress will be for my nearly 9 year old niece, so I'm going to try the pattern without ruffles in size 9-10.
I mostly buy fabric in 1 yard/metre pieces, which is fine for my daughter at 3 years of age. But it means that I usually don't have enough for bigger dresses. So I just had to find some fabric that matched/contrasted and these seem to work.
The brown and pink are Michael Miller prints from Volksfaden online, and I bought the white locally.
