Went to see a friend, the one I made the paisely and elephant ribbon bag for.
(An aside- I didn't know this when sewing, but she has a collection of elephants, and so did our friend Elaine who died - quite a co-incidence)
Her grief is very raw and we spent lots of time talking about Elaine. Elaines sisters wedding is in a month, and my friend doesn't want to go shopping, so asked me to make a dress - a bit of an'oh my goodness' moment
I am so glad to be able to do something for her.
Terrified I'll make a 'dogs dinner' of the dress. I've tried making 4 dresses for myself, and only one is finished, but still not worn.
