I know that it's not particularly amazing that I made a quilt cover, but my 4 year old has been watching his sister getting lots of new dresses and trying on dresses I was making for cousins. So I wanted to make something just for him.
The pictures just do not do this fabric justice. It is so bright and colourful. It is some of the Robots collection from David Walker and is in demand by the younger two because of the Robots Don't Cry book that they like. I got it online from ZandS Fabrics who were very quick to deliver" across the pond"!, with nicely wrapped fabric.
Making the quilt cover involved lots of measuring and re-measuring and confirmed to me that I do not have the mentality to make a quilt.
