Another dress for preschool.

This was the first dress I made for my daughter starting preschool, and how I learnt the importance of pockets .... None in this dress. I thought about adding them to the outside afterwards, but the print is so busy, that I think there's no need to add to it.

The pattern is Burda 11/2008







I have made this pattern a few times
and always omit the zip as the a-line shape means that it fit's easily over her head.

The fabric is Stenzo cord, bought online from DotsnStripes. The colour is very difficult to photograph, and is more a purple than a blue shade.
